Overview

Every shift starts with logging in. Whether you are a receptionist starting a morning shift, a manager checking on today’s arrivals, or an owner reviewing occupancy across properties, signing in is how Vesta knows who you are and what you are allowed to do.

Your account is set up by a property owner or administrator, who assigns you to one or more properties with a specific role. Once your account exists, you can sign in from any device with a web browser — front desk computer, office laptop, or tablet.

Signing In

  1. Open the Vesta login page in your browser
  2. Enter your Email address
  3. Enter your Password
  4. Click Sign In

After signing in, you will land on your Dashboard. If your account is linked to more than one property, you will be asked to select which property to work in first.

:::tip Bookmark the login page on your front desk computer so it is always one click away at the start of a shift. :::

If You Forget Your Password

  1. On the login page, click Forgot Password
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account
  3. Check your inbox for a reset link
  4. Follow the link to create a new password

:::warning Password reset links expire after a short time. If your link has expired, request a new one from the login page. :::

Session and Security

  • Your session stays active for 30 minutes. If you step away and come back after that, you will need to sign in again.
  • For security at a shared front desk computer, always sign out when your shift ends rather than leaving the browser open.
  • If you are locked out or cannot access your account, ask your property owner or manager to check that your account is active. See Managing Users for details.

:::info Vesta automatically refreshes your session while you are actively using it. The 30-minute timeout only applies when you are idle. :::
