BookingsManaging BookingsManaging Guests on a Booking

Overview

A booking can include more than one guest. For example, you may want to attach both occupants to the reservation for identification, VIP handling, and service requests.

From the booking detail page, you can:

  • Attach an existing guest record to the booking
  • Create a new guest and attach them
  • Set which guest is the Primary guest
  • Remove guests who are no longer part of the reservation (non-primary only)

Adding a Guest to a Booking

  1. Open the booking detail page — see Viewing Booking Details
  2. In the Guests card, click the plus icon
  3. In the Add Guest to Booking modal:
    • Start typing in First Name and Last Name, or Email, to search for an existing guest
    • Or fill out the full guest form to create a new guest record
  4. Click Attach Guest

The guest is attached to the booking and appears in the Guests list.

:::info If you select an existing guest and then change any of their details in the form, those changes update the guest profile itself (not just this booking). :::

Setting the Primary Guest

The primary guest is the main contact for the booking and is displayed most prominently across the system.

  1. In the Guests list, open the menu (three dots) on the guest you want to make primary
  2. Click Set Primary

Removing a Guest

You can remove guests that are attached to a booking as long as they are not the primary guest.

  1. In the Guests list, open the menu (three dots) on the guest you want to remove
  2. Click Remove
  3. Confirm the removal

:::warning You cannot remove the primary guest. If you need to remove them, set a different guest as primary first. :::
